About Topher Mayo
I am a Registered Respiratory Therapist dedicated to the professional and educational healthcare community through simulation development and application. I am a dedicated leader who works best in a teamwork environment most notably with students, faculty, and other healthcare professionals. I take pride in helping people to the extent that I can, especially in the educational realm.
As a lifelong learner, I hold my first Associate degree in Natural Health from Florida College of Natural Health. A second Associate degree in Advance Respiratory Care, as well as a Bachelors in Healthcare Administration from St. Petersburg College. A Master’s degree in Respiratory Care Leadership with a concentration in Adult and Organizational Learning from Northeastern University. A Doctor of Health Science with a concentration in Educational Leadership from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science (MCPHS).
I hold a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license nationally through the NBRC, as well as in the states of Michigan, Massachusetts, and Florida. I am a Certified Healthcare Simulation Operator Specialist (CHSOS) through the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and BLS, ACLS, and ACLS instructor certifications through the American Heart Association.
