About Adam Robinson

Adam teaches English at WCC. Before joining WCC, Adam worked at several colleges, serving in a variety of student-facing roles. He started his career at the University of Louisville, working first as an academic advisor and later as the Associate Director of the university’s writing center. There, Adam met his wife (also an English teacher), and they moved to Pittsburgh, where he began working at the University of Pittsburgh as the director of a support center for adult learners and student veterans. Adam then joined Penn State New Kensington to coordinate the college’s disability and tutoring support services. Adam and his wife left Pittsburgh for Indianapolis, where he taught English at Ivy Tech Community College before moving to Ann Arbor. He is a first-generation college student who earned his M.A. and B.A. in English from the University of Louisville. In his free time, he loves to be outside, whether that’s going on a hike or walking around a city.
