Each year, the WCC Foundation helps over 1,000 students pay for college with scholarships funded by generous donors. These scholarships are designed to remove financial barriers and support your success.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, you must:
- Demonstrate financial need through the FAFSA (see “How to Apply” below).
- High School Graduate or have you GED
- Have at least a 2.0 GPA in classes related to your program of study. If you’re a new student, you can submit high school transcripts or have an instructor send your interim grades.
How Much Can You Receive?
Scholarship amounts are based on your enrolled credit hours:
- 12+ credit hours → $1,000
- 9-11 credit hours → $750
- 6-8 credit hours → $500
- 1-5 credit hours → $250
Scholarships are available each semester, and you can apply for both fall and winter at the same time. To renew your scholarship, you must complete at least 67% of your attempted courses and maintain a 2.0 GPA.
How to Apply
Spring/Summer 2025
Apply using the current WCC Foundation Scholarship Application. Follow the steps below.
- Submit your FAFSA – WCC’s school code is 002328.
- Fill out the WCC Foundation Scholarship Application online.
- Write a short personal statement (250 words or less) about your academic and career goals. It’s best to prepare this in advance.
- Submit a letter of recommendation (optional, but encouraged) to scholarships@wccnet.edu.
Fall 2025 and beyond
Apply through Scholarship Universe, an online platform that connects you to multiple scholarship opportunities.
- Submit your FAFSA – WCC’s school code is 002328.
- Log in to Scholarship Universe and complete the WCC Foundation Scholarship Application.
