The Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor has established and funded the Kiwanis Club - WCC Foundation Scholarship to provide full-ride scholarships and additional assistance for qualified students. The scholarship is awarded to students who attend WCC on a full-time basis and meet all eligibility requirements.
The Kiwanis Scholarship covers tuition and books for one full school year and has an approximate value of $3,500. Qualified students are awarded their Scholarships for the Fall semester and are automatically awarded for the Winter semester if they remain in good standing.
The Foundation will provide eight scholarships to first year students who graduated from a Washtenaw County High School. We also provide up to 24 scholarships to students who have graduated from a Washtenaw County high school and are already in their second semester or beyond. The scholarships will pay for tuition, books, and possibly materials and fees.
Students may apply for a Kiwanis Scholarship by carefully following the directions listed below. Although highly competitive, students who receive a Scholarship may be eligible to receive the Scholarship in following semesters if they maintain good academic status that includes a cumulative pace of completion of 67% and a 2.0 GPA. Eligibility for renewal will be determined after WCC course work has been completed. Students may receive up to 3 years of Scholarship funding while attending WCC.
