Dena Blair – Lead Faculty of the Broadcast Media Arts program and General Manager of OrchardRadio.com
Dena Blair is the lead faculty member of Washtenaw Community College’s Broadcast Media
Arts program and the General Manager of OrchardRadio.com. She’s earned graduate degrees
from Central Michigan University and Eastern Michigan University, along with her undergraduate
degree from Adrian College. After working in college radio during her undergraduate
studies, she worked in the broadcast industry for over a decade, with jobs ranging
from writing and producing major productions for major corporations, including Chrysler,
GM and Ford Motor Company, to working as an editor at a post-production house in Los
Angeles, where she edited television shows for major networks including CBS, Fox,
Showtime and HBO. She loves 80’s music and her favorite band is Duran Duran.
Ryan Ehlke – OrchardRadio.com Station Manager
Ryan Ehlke is your Station Manager for OrchardRadio.com. He earned his undergraduate
degree from Central Michigan University. At CMU, Ryan worked as the Program Director,
Morning show host, sports show host and sports play by play announcer for the Student
station and earned Michigan Association of Broadcasters awards for “Best Play by Play”
and “Best Show”. For the past decade Ryan has gone onto work as a producer in the
Radio industry and has worked in the Saginaw, East Lansing and Detroit Markets. Currently
Ryan also works for the “Michigan Sports Network” where he serves as the Technical
+ Social Media Director for their Morning Sports Radio show that airs on six different
radio stations and simulcasts on television. Ryan loves some mid 00’s alternative
rock but also loves Hall & Oates and The Beatles.
