About Us
The Workforce Certification Center at Washtenaw Community College offers state-of-the-art testing facilities for hundreds of different industry-based certifications as well as testing for licensing for the State of Michigan. Located in the Morris Lawrence building on the main campus of WCC, the Workforce Certification Center provides easy access to nationally recognized industry credential organizations in a convenient, safe facility with ample free parking. No degree? No problem! Prove your skills with a new certification and turn the knowledge you already have into career growth today. Many of our most popular certifications are very affordable and can be earned quickly.
If you're working on a degree or certificate here at WCC you might already be prepped for one or more certifications. Many of our credit courses cover the material you need to pass industry certification exams. Graduating with a couple of certifications already under your belt can set you apart from the pack when applying for jobs in your chosen field, even before you finish your program.
This Center proctors exams that directly impact a candidate's employment, promotion, wage increase, or career change potential. The Workforce Certification Center adheres to the proctoring guidelines of NCTA and our Test Companies.

Certiport Kryterion Meazure Learning
Pearson Vue exams registration is often done with the certifying body (ie. MTTC, etc.). Please browse these websites to register and pay for the exam and select Washtenaw Community College as your exam site.
Contact the Center directly to schedule an appointment for Workkeys and to confirm your appointment for Certiport. For Certiport exams, there is a proctor fee of $30 per exam. Payable to Washtenaw Community College. At this time we are only able to accept payment for proctor fees and workkeys exams in the form of a cashier’s check or a money order.

Hours, Directions, Maps, and Parking
Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays are reserved for special accommodations. If you or your company need availability outside of these times, please contact us at 734-249-5920 to discuss your needs. We are generally only able to offer extended availability to groups of 25 or more candidates and there may be additional fees assessed for this service.
We can be difficult to find if you are not familiar with our campus. The maps below should help you locate us. We are the building in the red circle and the best parking is highlighted in green on the campus map. ML 126A is where you will check in for your exam, shown below in the red circle on the building map, the main entrance is marked with a green arrow.

Metro administers the pesticide applicator licensing exams for the state of Michigan. If you run a landscaping or lawn care company, obtaining this license for yourself or a team member can help expand your services.
