All students must complete the GI Bill® Certification Request each semester if they intend to use their GI Bill® Educational benefits. If we do not receive this form, we will not be able to process your certification. The following standards will be applied to every certification, each semester:
- Submit this request in a timely and accurate manner to ensure timely payments to the student and school.
- It is the student’s responsibility to meet with the Veteran Student Advisor to ensure their classes are required for their program of study here at WCC.
- Provide WCC with any prior college transcripts and Military transcripts for evaluation. Please visit our transfer resources page for more information. Transcripts need to be submitted as soon as possible but not later than the end of your first semester in order for WCC to continue certifying your courses to the VA.
- Credit is granted for military training as recommended by the American Council on Education (ACE) if it applies to the student’s program of study at WCC. You can access your military transcripts online.
