Effective Fall 2023, courses granted conditional approval may operate for a maximum of three consecutive semesters (regardless of whether or not the course runs in all three semesters) before requiring full approval. In order for a course to be fully approved, an assessment report and master syllabus update must be submitted for full approval by the end of the third semester following conditional approval. In the event that the assessment report and/or master syllabus update have not been submitted by the end of the third semester, the course will be discontinued. This general policy was reviewed and approved by Vice President for Instruction Vega, the Curriculum & Assessment Committees (6/15/23) and announced at a general faculty meeting on 8/24/23.
